Pendulum initially partnered with Laundy Hotels on a project basis in 2023 and, following a successful collaboration, was appointed as their retained PR agency for the entire group from the beginning of 2024. 

One of the first major projects under the retainer was the opening of Bistro Red Lion by Manu, a brand-new bistro developed in collaboration with renowned celebrity chef Manu Feildel. Bistro Red Lion by Manu occupies the upper level of the iconic Rozelle pub Red Lion Hotel and marked the French-Australian celebrity chef’s return to a restaurant kitchen for the first time in four-years. Pendulum led the strategic PR campaign including large-scale media launch dinner and ongoing media and influencer hostings to generate continuous results. 

Over a 2-month period coverage secured included print articles in Sydney Morning Herald Good Food, Daily Telegraph, Explore Travel and local publications Balmain Magazine & Darling Magazine. Online articles included Delicious, Concrete Playground, Time Out, Urban List, Broadsheet, Daily Mail, Australian Hotelier, AGFG, Hospitality Magazine, Good Food & Daily Telegraph.
